REFLECTION

EXPERIENCE: This module as well as the entire semester has been a whole new experience for me in terms of productivity and time management. I faced a lot of stress and anxiety throughout the semester with matters related/non related to studies. Most of the assignments in this semester were by far tougher than previous semesters and all of them coming simultaneously from different subjects in the same weeks was a huge pressure and stress to deal with and I had a tough time managing my time through everything. The assignments and tasks that I submitted were barely completed on time and I was pretty disappointed with the results and outcomes. The issue of managing time was really kicking in during the final weeks and some tasks I did well while others I couldn't manage to do as well as I intended. This module was one of those lower efforts but I believe that's part of the learning process. I will put more effort into managing my time and stress in the future.

OBSERVATION: The feedback that I got from both Ms.Lilian and Mr.Vinod each week were very constructive and helpful in coming up with the best output. I very much appreciate the guidance and thorough criticism to the works that made me to work harder to make better and saw the results each time. I normally show my work when I am satisfied with the result, but each time Ms.Lilian tells me to try more or come up with more ideas or to experiment more, I find more and more better options and alternatives. That for me was very eye opening and helped me in some other works that I did outside the module as well which is something I appreciate very much.

FINDINGS: I used to have a very narrow mindset when it comes to branding and logos in general. I always felt like I had lots of ideas when it comes to designing and I do put that to work as well. But this module taught me that designing is a very late stage in branding and there are whole other stages that should be crossed before coming to design. It also taught me a lot on being more organised and plan ahead of any task or project. The knowledge of actual brands and their real life journeys and ideas were also a very helpful and taught me a lot about real world scenarios.
