The Professional Development Week organised by Taylor's University in October 2023 proved to be a transformative experience, immersing participants in a series of workshops designed to enhance our understanding of the professional world. As I delved into the insightful sessions, I discovered a wealth of knowledge and practical advice that would undoubtedly shape my journey into the realms of finance, career readiness, creative media, and professional networking.
The first workshop I attended was "Financial Literacy for Fresh Graduates" by Allianz. Led by the articulate and knowledgeable speaker, Gloria, this session was tailor-made for individuals embarking on their professional and financial journey post-graduation. Gloria adeptly guided us through the intricacies of financial literacy, providing valuable insights into managing finances, making informed decisions, and navigating the complex landscape of financial responsibilities.
