GCD60504: Final Project

FINAL PROJECT:
The final project for this module is a group project. For this project, we were instructed to illustrate and animate a sex education video for which we were given a script with narrated audio clips. Our first task was to breakdown the script into different scenes and frames.
From the breakdown onwards, our group decided to split the entire script into 6 parts for each of the group member and for everyone to do all the works in that particular part. I chose the scenes at the very beginning of the script. Here is our script breakdown:

After breaking down the script, we had a few meetings regarding the art styles that we were gonna follow. we created a mood board with the styles and visual elements that we agreed on to design the video.

After that, we did the sketches for all of the scenes. We compiled the sketches to get an overall look at how the video animation will look like. Some of the extended frames had to be split and then made new sketches for.

After finalising the sketch animatics video, we then proceeded to illustrate the frames. The illustrations took 2 weeks to complete as we had to illustrate along with animations. It took one more week redo some of the less consistant illustrations to match with the work of others in the group.

When we were settled with illustrations, we then proceeded to do the final animations. Here is my part of the animation video.

After receiving everyone's work, we had some final discussions to make necessary final changes before submitting the final work.
