EXERCISES
Ex 1 - MINTS Progress - 25 August 2021
Here is the final video:Week 1: EXERCISE 2 - DORITOS: The second exercise was also to arrange segments of a video and compile them but this time the clips were not in order. The clips were trimmed in various durations so the whole process seemed like a puzzle. It took me a while to find the proper order by watching the clips on the timeline and trying to grab the story. But after a while re-arranging the timeline I was able to connect the clips together.
Here is the final video:
- Low angle Wide shot
- Frontal Medium close-up shot
- Frontal Medium shot
- Extreme close up
- Side angle Medium shot
- 3/4 Angling medium close up
- Close up shot
- Eye-level medium wide shot
Week 2:
EXERCISE 2 - Trimming: The second exercise for this week was about trimming raw videos that were
shot for an advertisement. The videos included the crew and cues that had
to be trimmed and the final videos arranged in order. Here is my process
and final outcome:

Exercise 3: Music video shoot practice
For this exercise, I was instructed to shoot clips for a music video, blend the clips using color corrections and editing and blend the footage with a music with right compositions.
REFLECTION
Week 2: This week was focused on more serious work related to videography. Shooting video footage from phone, exporting them into Premier and doing cuts and editing was a learning experience. I learned the basics and some cool tricks while attempting this week's exercises.
