FINAL REFLECTION
The past 14 weeks on this module has been a wonderful experience of exploring designs and personally making different forms of art. It made me finally pick-up the brushes and pens and papers to put them to use after having them unused for a long long time. It was therapeutic in so many ways and helped me learn a lot about art and design and also learn a lot about myself and expressing myself as well. Learning about artworks from the beginning of art to modern-day artworks and learning how to analyse them taught me how to view designs and details. I now look every art piece very differently than I used to, thanks to Design Principles and Dr.Charles.
Dr.Charles was a wonderful lecturer who really understood students and our situations. He helped a lot and taught us a lot by giving us constructive feedbacks and teaching us how to critically analyse designs.
I tried to take approach every assignment as an opportunity to learn a new form of art instead of doing things that I had already done. I found that it helped me open my mind to the unlimited ways to express ideas and stories. More than anything, I am glad that this module made me pick up the tools and start drawing and painting again. And I am sure I will continue doing that.
