LECTURE:

For this week's lecture, we were introduced to Adobe Photoshop. It was mainly focused on 3 tools of Photoshop; Lasso, Pen and Layers.

Lasso tools are used to draw and pinpoint areas from document and separate elements so the selected area can be manipulated or changed. There are 3 types of Lasso tools in photoshop, Lasso, Polygonal Lasso and Magnetic Lasso. All of them are basically used for drawing selections.

The pen tool is another way of making selections by drawing paths around an area to be selected. Earlier on week 1, we were shared the Bezier game which is an exercise to practice the pen tool.

1. COMPOSITION #1

2. COMPOSITION #2

3. COMPOSITION #3

Reflections: I really liked the second one. But I hadn’t made up my mind whether there should be a gap between the building image and the railway image so did both ways for composition 2 and 3.

And personally i feel like no gap is better.

Feedback: Both composition is good. COMPOSITION #1 is minimal and simplify. It's kinda look like an artwork already.

Good work on COMPOSITION #2, good perspective. Clean cut on the Pen Tool techniques. I suggest for you to choose COMPOSITION #2
