REFLECTION
EXPERIENCE: This whole semester has been a rollercoaster ride for me. I have not yet been so stressed about my studies and assignments. I had a really hard time managing my time in-between subjects and assignments while keeping myself motivated to continue working. There were times I was hopeless about the semester and tasks. But I managed to complete all my tasks on time without any delays although I am not very satisfied with the work I did for some of the assignments. I still count it as a win to get everything done as best as I could at the time.
OBSERVATIONS: I tried to do my best in all the tasks at the time and I still was very new to research and everything that comes with it. Looking back at my works on this module as well as previous module, I notice a lot of mistakes as well as things I have misunderstood then. But I know I have learnt a lot through the tasks and I am positive that I would do a much better job with a much better understanding the next time I approach any research related tasks.
I am so very thankful for Dr.Jinchi for her support and motivation throughout the semester. I was been behind on some tasks due to work load and came to classes expecting to see I had passed a deadline or failed to keep up with the progress. But Dr.Jinchi always motivated me and gave me instructions on how to break apart the assignments into portions and do part-by-part. And she has been reading the work thoroughly and updating me on corrections and updates throughout the 14 weeks. She has been a wonderful lecturer in the last two semesters and I would like to thank her very much.
FINDINGS: When I read through the assignments now, I find that I had some misunderstandings regarding some of the topics and I see I had made some silly mistakes along the way in my dissertation and other tasks. It has to do with the deadlines and time management as well because we do not get much time to go back and reflect at every task and topic in-between all the assignments in multiple subjects. But I feel like I have a good understanding of those subjects. In the future, I feel positive that I would do well in similar works. I have read a lot of papers this semester on the topics I was researching on as well as papers regarding research itself. Even-though I had a stressful and troublesome semester, and I am happy to know that I have learnt a lot this semester.
